Short answer: a growing pile of research says yes, carefully. The most-cited work comes out of Cornell's veterinary program, where researchers studied CBD for pain control in dogs with osteoarthritis and reported encouraging results on comfort and activity levels.

Two big caveats. First, dose is everything and dogs are small — never share a product dosed for a 180-pound human with a 30-pound beagle. Second, THC is genuinely unsafe for dogs, so anything you share must be a verified zero-THC product. Verified by a lab report, not by the front of the label.

Talk to your vet first — more of them are comfortable discussing CBD every year. And keep the THC drinks on the top shelf of the fridge. Murphy can't read the dose ladder.
